Ready, set, go!

Next week it's time! Then I will hike 200 km during the official Four Days Marches in Nijmegen, and this time for charity: Lymph&Co.

After Suzanne was diagnosed with Hodgkin in 2021 we got into a roller coaster of hospital treatments. Fortunately at this moment everything is back under control. Yet the recurring checks remain part of our life.

1 out of 50 men and women face the diagnosis of lymphoma. Despite existing, intensive treatment, more than a 1.000 patients per year die as a result of this condition in the Netherlands alone. It ranks as the 3rd type of cancer amongst children and adolescents, and it’s the 5th type present in adults.

Lymph&Co has two goals: seek to raise awareness for this form of cancer and fund progressive scientific research into better and more effective means for treating this disease.
